What emi.me is

emi.me provides free educational calculators and guides about loan EMIs. We are an independent information service — not a bank, NBFC, lender, broker or financial adviser, and we do not arrange, sell or recommend any loan or financial product.

Estimates, not advice

All figures produced by the calculators are illustrative estimates generated by a published reducing-balance formula (see our methodology). They are not quotes, offers, or a guarantee of any rate, eligibility or sanction. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, investment or tax advice. Your lender's sanction terms always prevail; verify exact numbers with them before making any decision.

No warranty & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. While we unit-test our engine and strive for accuracy, we don't warrant that every figure or explanation is error-free or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, emi.me is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its calculations. If you spot an error, please tell us.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators and read the content freely for personal and informational purposes. Please don't misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, or republish large portions of the content as your own.

Intellectual property

The site's content, design and branding are owned by emi.me. The underlying calculation method is standard mathematics, documented openly on the methodology page so you can verify it.
