Privacy Policy

The short version: emi.me does not collect your personal information. The calculators run entirely in your browser, the numbers you enter are never sent to us, and we don't show ads or run third-party trackers.

What stays on your device

Everything you type into a calculator — loan amount, rate, tenure — is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. We store exactly one small functional preference, your light/dark theme choice, in your browser's local storage. It contains no personal data and never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Analytics

Privacy-respecting analytics are off by default. If the operator enables them, emi.me uses Plausible, which is cookieless, collects only aggregate, anonymous usage counts, and does not build personal profiles or track you across sites. No consent banner is required because no personal data or non-essential cookies are involved.

Cookies

emi.me sets no cookies by default. The only client-side storage is the functional theme preference described above. If you see a cookie, it isn't from us.

If you email us

When you write to hello@emi.me, we use your message and email address solely to reply and, if relevant, to fix a reported issue. We don't add you to a marketing list or share your message.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you by default, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or erase. If you have any privacy question — including under the EU GDPR or India's DPDP Act — email us and we'll help.
